After leaving “Bucznik” and taking the turn right before the petrol station, go toward Wilcze (approx 2,5 km) where you can visit the Jerzy Kukuczka Museum. It is located in his family house where visitors can see the famous Himalayan mountaineer’s memorabilia. What is more, the museum is run by Cecylia Kukuczka who is Jerzy’s wife. She tells about her husband’s life and achievements with emotion ands fondness. A visit to the museum is an unforgettable tour in the footsteps of our great compatriot who is considered to be one of the most outstanding Himalayan mountaineers in the world.
